Prose translation of the tragedies by Eugène Talbot. Separate editions of individual plays were also published by the same editor: two Electras appeared in 1863 (one with the original and the translation on opposite pages and one with both the original and a literal translation by Louis-Antoine Vendel-Heyland), followed by Ajax and OEdipe à Colone in 1869, and Philoctète in 1876.
